About me

My Dance Story: I started dance at the age of three. I started training at Visions Dance Studio, when I was 5 I auditioned for a role in Rochester City Ballet's The Nutcracker that year I was selected to be a Cast A page. Following this audition I received a full scholarship for one year at Draper Center, Rochester City Ballet's training school. I performed one more time in The Nutcracker the following year but this time as a Holly Sprite. I stayed at Draper until 5th grade when I switched studios. I moved to Inna Ballet thi studio is where I would spend my last two years of dancing. At Inna Ballet I performed two Spring Recitals and one Nutcracker production. During the summer of 2018 I went back to Draper Center for the 2 and 4 Week Intensives. I went back because I had recently made the decision to quit the following school year. At the age of 12 I decided to quit my passion for 9 years and to focus on music.

My Music Story: As of December 2018 I play three instruments-the violin, the piano and the harp. At the age of three (around the same times I started dance) I started studying the violin with Mrs. Janet Milnes. I never really liked violin since I believed that I was destined to be a dancer. LOL. When I was six I begged my mom to let me play the piano and she said yes! In September 2012 I started studying the piano with Ms. Annie Wang. However I did not remain her student for very long in January of 2013 I started studying the piano with Mrs. Harriet Zimmerman. In January of 2016 I went to Solo Fest for the first time as a level three violin three soloist. To my astonishment I was selected to be a Seat Three Second Violinist in All-Country Orchestra. In August of 2016 I switched to the Mrs. Nancy Hunt of the RPO. The following year I returned to Solo Fest as a level four violin soloist. In 2017 I was selected to play as a Eighteenth Seat First Violinist. In the Spring of 2017 I returned to Solo Fest and received a 100 in return. YAY!!! A few weeks later I auditioned for the Hochstein Philharmonia and to my surprise I got in! On January 4, 2018 I played piano in the Russian Friendship Concert in Kilbourn Hall (my first time). In the spring I returned once again to Solo Fest in January 2018 as a level five violin soloist and got selected to play as a Tenth Seat First Violinist. That spring I returned once again resulting in a not so good score (95). This May I played Beethoven's 5th Symphony 4th Movement as a Seat Three First Violinist with the Hochstein Philharmonia. Following this school year I changed teachers once again. In August of 2018, I started studying under the studio of Mr. Boris Zapesochny also with the RPO. This was also around the same time I started to learn the Harp under the direction of Ms. Rosanna Moore. On November 12, 2018 I played in my very first harp concert!

Art Story: Although most of my childhood as focused on dance and violin, I always found time to draw. As a little girl I loved drawing crazy things. The alien drawing on the home page was one of my very first drawings that I was super proud of. As I got older I found it more and more difficult to incorporate art into my life. However, whenever my family and I went to the CMOG (Corning Museum of Glass), this was always my time to create something new. 2 years ago I made the pendant and bead shown on the home page. In 4th grade I became interested in paintings on Canvas. As of December 2018 I am most proud of my painting titled Hogwarts is my Home shown on the home page as well. At school I have been known to give people hand painted gifts representing them for their birthday or for Christmas as I feel it is the most personalized gift I could give. I love sketching clothing and trying out new hand lettering techniques.
